It will probably be preaching to the choir here and all, but in case anyone here is interested, the ship manifesto I wrote for Johnny/Edgar some many months ago is finally posted over here in some kind of heavily ironic last act of fandom for me.   Hopefully it is some level of enjoyable.

That's actually a really interesting thing to do, dissecting the ship/its fandom like that. Weird, I never would have noticed the over-abundance of Edgar-as-a-supernatural-being fics if you hadn't mentioned it.

Sucks that you're leaving fandom, though. Sorry if this makes me seem like a total creeper, but you're the only reason I ever had the confidence to start writing/posting fanfiction. Thanks for that.

Yeah, I think the analysis is a really interesting concept. It kind of calls back to the old ages of the internet for me, when people made pairing shrines on Geocities and waxed eloquent for pages at a time about why we should ship along with them.

That does not make you a creeper at all. I'm incredibly honored to hear that I helped with someone else's confidence to write.

Your icon may be happy to hear I'm primarily immersed in Doctor Who stuff now, though.
