The next song is a bonus because it doesn't really fit the mood of the mix, but the lyrics are good enough that I wanted to include it. Plus, there were too many depressing songs. Something happy at the end would be just what the doctor ordered! Now take your medication, sickos.

It's my first fanmix in a while, so if there's anything I did wrong, or a way to make any part of it more convient/interesting/awesome, go ahead and pipe up. Questions about song choice? Holy lord, I didn't know Johnny Cash did a version of Personal Jesus! Thanks for uploading this, I've never heard any of these before. :D

I know, I had a bit of a wtf moment when I first saw it on one of his albums, too. I like it a bit more than the Depeche Mode version, actually, 'cause of this weird sinister sound to it that the original doesn't have...if that makes any sense. XD

I'm glad I got to introduce someone to some music, then.

Like the poster above me, I hadn't heard any of these songs before (unless you count Manson's version of Personal Jesus...). I was a little iffy about downloading them because of that, but I'm really glad I did. This is easily the best pairing-themed fanmix I've heard, and I honestly can't pick a favorite song out of it (not counting the bonus song because I've had that on repeat several times now *__*). Less gushing, and more technical, these songs were excellent fits lyrically. Not once did I stop and think that any of the songs were a bit of a stretch for either of them, so. Great job! =)

Passion Pit has a habit of making earworm songs, I know. XD Probably a good business practice in the long run.

New music and Johnny Cash singing "Personal Jesus"? ^___^

Yeah, that really seems to be the ensemble darkhorse here. I thought people would recognize Muse or Radiohead, if anything. XD

I really liked this! There are quite a few songs on here that I haven't heard and I really like (I've been finding out over the past few days that Johnny Cash has done a lot of covers for songs I adore).
And all of those darker songs, and then SUDDENLY, SLEEPYHEAD. It gave me a happy feeling. ♥

In fact, I believe that's what I'll do right now.

Like the Radiohead, like the Muse... and I was only recently introduced to DeVotchKa. Great mix; all the songs connected well for me, and were even well organized, sound- and theme-wise.
